New Enrolments

Students will be assigned a skill/class level based on their assessment. No assessment required for children under 3 years of age.

Perpetual Enrolment

Enrolments will be automatically rolled over unless written notice of cancellation is received. Part payments will not be accepted. Every effort will be made to adhere to the timetable, however Wagga Swim Hub reserves the right to consolidate classes, program schedules and change teachers to suit seasonal and usage requirements as necessary. Classes will not go ahead on a Public Holiday including Easter long weekend and 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year period, fees are discounted according. There is a minimum of 10 week commitment.

Payments

Enrolments are only confirmed once full payment of fees has been received. Fees are to be paid by Direct debit, if you wish to pay by another means please ask our admin team. Children will not be allowed to participate in their lesson if fees remain outstanding. Invoices must be paid by the nominated due date. All payment and invoice account details must be kept up-to-date and are the responsibility of the account holder. Details can be managed via the customer portal.

Cancellation Policy

Two weeks written notice is required to cease enrolment. If you choose to cancel once payment has been made, Wagga Swim Hub does not give refunds. In certain cases we will offer a credit, but this is only assessed on a case by case basis and needs to be applied for in writing.

Fee Credits

Should you not be able to attend more than 4 consecutive classes due to illness/injury a medical certificate must be supplied. In the event of injury/illness, a credit will be issued on your account. If a credit is claimed, your class spot will be vacated and you will need to re-enrol on return.  Going on holidays and don’t want to loose your spot? Make Up Classes

We offer 3 make up lessons every billing period (10 Weeks), the make up can only be booked via the customer portal once a Notice of Absence has been submitted. Wagga Swim Hub must be notified through the customer portal of a student being absent at least 6hrs (preferably the day before if possible) prior to a class commencing. Make ups must be used within 90 days and students have to be currently enrolled. Make ups can only be booked in an alternate class of the students current or assessed level. Make ups are strictly limited by availability and cannot be guaranteed. Make ups are non-transferable and have no financial value towards enrolment fees and can only be used by the enrolled student. Due to the high demand Privates makeups are to be booked as group lessons. Make ups are unavailable for accounts that are in arrears.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Illness and Communicable Diseases

Please respect our precautionary health rules and refrain from lessons if your child is suffering from any of the following: ANY contagious disease e.g. conjunctivitis, rubella, flu, gastro, fever, common cold, runny infected noses, sore throats, cold sores, ringworm, head lice and urinary tract infection, or any illness (however small) if there is a risk to others. The instructors have the right to refuse a child who shows clear signs of illness in their class.

Aqua Nappy Policy

• All children aged 3 years and below MUST wear a firmly fitting swimming nappy such as an “Aqua Nappy”. This is in ADDITION to any disposable aqua nappies that are worn underneath. This also applies to any children over the age of 3 years who are not completely toilet trained. 

• We reserve the right to ask any person that is not complying with this policy to exit the pool. 

• This policy is in place to ensure the highest possible water quality for our patrons. Only approved swimwear will be allowed in the pool. Swimming caps must be worn by all swimmers with the exception of Aqua Bub’s and their parents/guardians. Pool & Pool Area.

Code of Conduct

• Wagga Swim Hub management, staff and teachers reserve the right to remove any student / child who they believe to be behaving in a dangerous or disruptive manner.

• Management reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel enrolments, and request student/parent/guardian to vacate the premises should they not behave in a respectful and responsible manner.

• While parents are encouraged to watch classes, parents must not approach teachers during lessons.

• All students and their guests must remain under the supervision of the responsible adult at all times. 

• Wagga Swim Hub and its surrounds are non-smoking areas.

Photo / Video Policy

• Parents must ask permission to other parents/ guardian if you wish to film your child with other children. 

• Under no circumstances are cameras, video cameras or mobile phones to be used in change room areas or showers.
